Ingredients

  • 3 scoops of Chocolate Whey Protein
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 50g Greek yogurt
  • 100g wholemeal flour
  • 2 tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp. Icing sugar

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (or 160°C for fan-assisted) and line a rectangular baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Whisk the egg and egg white together and add the coconut sugar.
  • Sift the whole-wheat flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Then add the cocoa powder to the bowl.
  • It’s time to add one scoop of Chocolate Whey Protein to the mixture, whisk it thoroughly, and pour it onto the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20 minutes in the oven or until the sponge springs back when touched.
  • To make the filling, combine one scoop of Chocolate Whey Protein with the Greek yogurt and whisk until smooth.
  • Take the sponge out of the oven, let it cool, and then put it on top of the filling.
  • Roll the sponge carefully to form your Yule log.
  • Break the dark chocolate and place it in a microwave-safe bowl with a scoop of Chocolate Whey Protein and coconut oil to melt.
  • Get the dark chocolate mixture out of the microwave as soon as it melts. Whisk to make it smooth and spread it over the Yule log.
  • Sprinkle some icing sugar before serving.
