Neoprene Dumbbells

This product has a simple, elegant, and clever design. It is solid and sturdy with no moving parts / spinning gears, making it easy to use and very durable in the long term. I think that this combination of simple and effective makes these dumbells an exceptional value at this price point (they are likely cheaper to produce than other more complicated designs). Quite frankly, while shopping around, other similar products just look like they are going to break, have weird gaps in the weights depending on the weight selected, and so on.

I bought these early last month and have used them 5 to 6 days a week since then. I did quite a bit of research before pulling the trigger on these, but they're exactly what I needed. I would personally avoid the Bowflex or other popular models that have fixed length handles / bars. The Powerblocks get shorter and more maneuverable as you lift lower amounts of weight. These are also expandable, which is a pretty rare feature at this price point, but will absolutely come in handy for heavier dumbbell squats in a few months.

I have two other sets of adjustable dumbbells that have the twist adjuster in the center of the dumbbell which makes adjusting weight super fast. I found the label confusing on the dumbbell to understand on how to pick the right slot / weight. Also its a pain in the butt removing the small 2.5lb weights from the handle for finer tuning of the weight. Overall I would recommend this product, but more for heavier workouts. If you need dumbbells' for 0 to 35lbs, maybe find another brand.
