Key Features

Each feature of DMoose Pull Up Assist Bands is thoughtfully designed to maximize your strength training, versatility, and convenience.

With a set of color-coded bands, you have multiple resistance options to tailor your workouts. Each band provides a different level of tension – thicker bands offer strong support for beginners, while thinner bands give a light assist for those closer to unassisted pull-ups.

You can always find the right amount of support for any exercise. As you grow stronger, you simply move to a band with less assistance. This variety keeps your training challenging and progressive so you continually build strength as you advance.

equipment feature

These bands are made of premium natural latex rubber that handles intense stretching without snapping. The material balances strength and flexibility, so it maintains elasticity workout after workout.

You can rely on each band to return to its original length every time, resisting wear and tear through countless reps. High-quality, tear-resistant construction ensures the bands won’t fray or lose tension over time. That means you get a safe, consistent stretch with every use.

equipment feature

Unlike many rubber workout bands, these have no harsh odor. The natural latex is low-odor and won't stink up your gym bag, even with regular use. The bands are also designed to lie flat without rolling or pinching, so they feel comfortable against your skin through every exercise.

Smooth edges and a skin-friendly texture prevent chafing or irritation. You can focus on your workout without any distractions from unpleasant smells or discomfort.

equipment feature

These resistance bands are exceptionally portable. They’re lightweight and take up almost no space, so you can easily toss them into your gym bag, suitcase, or even a desk drawer. Unlike bulky fitness equipment, bands travel with you anywhere you go.

This means you can stick to your training routine whether you’re at home, in the office, or on vacation. Turn any environment into your personal gym, all you need is a band and something sturdy to anchor it, and you’re ready to exercise.

equipment feature

These bands aren’t limited to pull-ups – they unlock a wide variety of exercises. Use them for added assistance or resistance in movements like dips, push-ups, squats, and presses. They’re also excellent for stretching, yoga, and rehab exercises, helping improve flexibility and mobility.

The bands can replace many cable machines or free weights, serving as an all-in-one tool for full-body training. Whether you’re targeting back, arms, legs, or core, they adapt to your needs so you can train without a gym’s worth of equipment.

    Portable, Versatile, Convenient, Effective

These are great for home workouts or training with minimal equipment, though you can also combine them with weights. I use them to do add resistance to body weight exercises (dips, push-ups) and to replace free weights and cable machines in traditional exercises (bicep curls, rows, lat pull-downs, side raises, squats, dead-lifts, etc). I love the portability and flexibility they offer and the multiple resistance levels. They seem durable and don’t feel cheap. Bonus things I like about using bands instead of weights include constant tension and less joint discomfort after workouts.

    Well worth it IMO.

This may not be for the Uber Traditionalist Weight Lifter that wants to see heavy plates all over his garage or basement; or the Gym Rat that feels more important when they do their rep's on a giant machine. But for those like me, that just want to maintain strength and fitness these bands are Superb. Price is nothing compared to the traditional equipment. Storage is a little bag in a closet. Only limited by your imagination. A solid pair of gloves (full finger or half) and a door stop are all that is needed to do a host of exercises. The favorite for me is assisted pull ups! I drape a thick band over the pull up bar and stretch it until it sits under my bent knee. Like magic I am doing pull ups and already see the gain when I try without the bands. These are color coded to easily go through your routine.

Very useful equipment; great customer service

I'm in my late 40's and have been a frequent presence at the gym, lifting free weights for about the last three decades. I'm no Schwarzenegger, but, along with some cardio, it's kept me in shape. When the pandemic hit and my gym in NYC was shuttered I put together a make-shift gym in my place upstate, but getting the right equipment was a slow (and yet incomplete) process. So I thought I would supplement with these bands and now I'd find it hard to live without them. I use them both to complement free weights (eg, stretched behind my back turns 35 lb dumbbells into 60 lbs when doing incline dumbbell press) and stand-alone, replicating a lot of the movements for ancillary exercises that in a gym would require varied and expensive equipment (eg, reverse cable flyes). My significant other uses them to do assisted pullups. I bought another set for my NYC apartment given that I now spend part of the week there and am not ready to venture back into Equinox just yet. On customer service: when my (slender female) significant other was doing assisted pullups with the purple band, it broke. It can happen (now she uses two red bands). I contacted the seller via the Amazon seller messaging link and the seller responded quickly and helped resolve the issue.

    Good bands and good price

These bands work great. I have used other bands in the past, and they are great as well, but no matter what bands you get, eventually they will wear over time. The smaller bands tend to experience more use. If you receive bands with defects, returning them is always a good option. Also, avoid anchoring bands to objects with sharp corners.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do DMoose Pull Up Bands help during workouts?

They provide targeted assistance and resistance to enhance your exercises. By offsetting some of your body weight during pull-ups, the bands let you perform more reps with proper form. This extra support helps you build strength and confidence until you can do unassisted pull-ups. You can also use the bands to add resistance to other exercises, making your workouts more challenging and effective.

Are DMoose Pull Up Bands suitable for beginners?

Absolutely. In fact, they’re perfect for beginners who can’t yet do a pull-up on their own. Using a thicker (higher resistance) band will support more of your weight, effectively helping you through the pull-up movement. This allows those with less upper-body strength to start building muscle and practicing the motion safely. As you get stronger, you can transition to thinner bands with less assistance.

How do I choose the right resistance band?

Each band color corresponds to a different resistance level. If you’re just starting out or have a higher body weight, choose a band with stronger resistance (a thicker band) to give you more assistance. Those who are lighter or more advanced can use a band with lower resistance. As a rule of thumb, pick a band that allows you to do around 5–10 pull-ups per set. You can always adjust by moving to the next band up or down in resistance as needed.

How do I set up the band for assisted pull-ups?

It’s quick and easy. Loop one end of the band over a sturdy pull-up bar, then pull it through itself to secure it to the bar (creating a knot around the bar). Let the other end hang down and place your knee or foot into the loop. Now the band will stretch and support part of your weight as you pull yourself up. Always make sure the band is securely anchored on the bar before you start your pull-up.

Can I use these bands for exercises besides pull-ups?

Yes – there are countless other exercises you can do. You can attach the bands to assist with movements like dips or muscle-ups, use them for resistance in exercises like push-ups or squats, and even incorporate them into weightlifting (for example, band-resisted bench presses or deadlifts). Additionally, they’re great for stretching, mobility work, and physical therapy exercises, making them a versatile tool for any workout routine.

Can I use more than one band at a time?

Definitely. You can combine bands if you need extra assistance or want to increase resistance. For example, some people use two bands together on a pull-up bar to get more lift if one band isn’t enough. Similarly, you can stack bands when doing band-resisted exercises to add more tension. Using multiple bands is a smart way to fine-tune the support or difficulty to exactly what you need.

Will the bands snap or break easily?

No – DMoose Pull Up Bands are made from high-quality natural latex designed to stretch repeatedly without breaking. They can handle a lot of tension. As long as you use them properly (avoiding sharp edges or overstretching beyond their limit), the bands will not snap. Many users get years of use out of them. If you ever notice any cracks or wear developing, you should replace the band, but under normal use they’re extremely durable.

How many bands do I get in a set?

Each set comes with multiple bands. DMoose offers a 5-band set (with resistances ranging from light to heavy) and a 6-band set that includes an extra band for the utmost range. Every band in the set is a different color and resistance level. This means when you purchase the set, you’ll have a full selection of assistance levels available to match different exercises or track your progress.

How should I care for these bands?

Maintaining the bands is easy. After use, you can wipe them down with a damp cloth to remove sweat or dust (a little mild soap can be used if needed). Make sure to dry them off and store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight – excessive heat and UV exposure can degrade the latex over time. Avoid contact with sharp objects that could nick or cut the bands. With basic care, your DMoose Pull Up Bands will last a very long time.

What makes DMoose Pull Up Bands different from other bands?

DMoose Pull Up Bands stand out for their premium quality and design. They’re made from 100% natural latex, giving them superior elasticity and durability compared to cheaper bands. They are built not to snap or lose tension even after extensive use. Unlike some bands, DMoose bands have minimal rubber odor, and each one is clearly color-coded for its resistance level. With DMoose, you’re investing in a long-lasting product backed by a reputation for quality fitness gear.
